Sherri Horseman is an HR and Payroll Administrator for Avery Hall Insurance. She joined our team in the Salisbury office in 2022 in the Administration department. As an HR and Payroll Administrator, Sherri assists with onboarding new employees, organizing training for new team members, and serving as a communicator between our staff and HR.
Sherri was born and raised in Willards, Maryland, and received her AA in Early Childhood Education from Wor-Wic Community College. Before joining Avery Hall, Sherri worked in the home improvement industry doing payroll, benefits, HR duties and providing staff support. We are excited to see what her experience brings to Avery Hall!
Positivity, encouragement, and a strong work ethic are important values to Sherri. Part of what she enjoys about her position is being given the opportunity to help others succeed and feel valued. She strives daily to lift others up and be the best version of herself.
Sherri values giving back to the community she calls home and volunteers with the HALO Kitchen monthly. She is grateful for the opportunity to help those in need and spend time with her volunteering friends. When she isn’t working or volunteering, Sherri enjoys fishing, scrapbooking, and trying out new recipes. She is also passionate about spending time with her family. Sherri and her husband, Rick, have three kids, one granddaughter, and a dog, cat, and pet snake!
