Shawn Weinman is an assistant account manager in the commercial lines department at our Salisbury office. He joined Avery Hall in 2016. His specialty is working with small to large business owners providing property-casualty insurance coverage.
Professionally, Shawn has 18-plus years of experience working in the insurance industry, specifically, in the commercial lines department.
Outside of work, Shawn serves the community as a Fire-Fighter and National Registry EMT. He is also a member of the Citizens Emergency Response Team in Ocean City, Maryland. Shawn has several Healthcare Provider certifications and FEMA certifications. He is also a certified BLA provider in CPR by The American Heart Association. His combined first-hand experience and knowledge from emergency management uniquely qualifies him with a deeper specialty knowledge. This knowledge is emphasized through the importance of protecting your business, income, and your assets.
He spent most of his life in New Jersey, where he grew up, and graduated college from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s of Science in business management. He also has an Associates of Science in business administration.
Shawn enjoys visiting The Smithsonian Institution Museum in Washington, D.C.
A fun fact about Shawn is that he is a Certified Clinical Hypnotist from the NGH National Guild of Hypnotists located in Merrimack.
