Megan Roy is a Marketing & Communications Specialist for Avery Hall. She performs marketing duties for all our locations and works out of the Salisbury office. Megan joined the Avery Hall team in 2019 as a Marketing Intern and then was hired in 2021 as a Marketing Assistant. In August 2021, she was promoted to her current position.
As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, Megan focuses on creating social media content and marketing materials for Avery Hall. She spends most of her time filming and editing videos and being responsible for producing and scheduling content across multiple online platforms. Her favorite part of her job is being creative every day and working with our agents to create fun videos.
She enjoys participating in the charitable events and opportunities presented at Avery Hall. In 2023, she was named as one of the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore’s Coordinators of the Year for her efforts in Avery Hall’s workplace campaign.
Megan is from the Eastern Shore and grew up in Hebron. She attended Mardela High School and then Salisbury University. She received her B.A. in Communication Arts for Media Production, with a Minor in English.
Megan enjoys spending time with her family and her cats, Luna and Lentil, in her spare time. Her favorite relaxing hobby is crocheting while watching Criminal Minds. She sells her crocheted goods and watercolor paintings locally, including at Third Friday in downtown Salisbury. A fun fact about Megan is that she is passionate about writing and is always working on a new story.
