Lisa Ludwig is the receptionist for Avery Hall Insurance in our Salisbury office. Lisa held the same position from 1999 to 2001 and happily returned to the role in 2021.
As the receptionist, Lisa welcomes each visitor into our Salisbury office, assists clients in getting in touch with our agents, and helps with office organization and productivity.
Before returning to Avery Hall, Lisa was an executive director of a regional non-profit. Lisa is passionate about her community and has previously served in a variety of charitable positions, including as a member of the Tri-County Council CEDS Committee, WorWic College HMR/Culinary Program Advisory Committee, Board of Directors for Somerset County Historic Trust, and as a representative liaison to TADD, the Somerset County Museum Consortium, and the Wicomico County Tourism Consortium. Her favorite charity to support is Coastal Hospice.
Lisa was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and spent most of her childhood in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she studied English and Art Education at the University of Tennessee. She moved to Delmarva in 1996 and has been on the Eastern Shore ever since.
Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys going to the beach, spending time with friends, and traveling to new places. She has two grown daughters and is a happy dog mom to an adorable Parsons Jack Russell named Luna.
One fun fact about Lisa is that she holds a second-degree black belt in sword art of Haidong Gumdo and a black belt in Taekwondo! She also volunteers to teach martial arts in the evenings.
