Kimberly (Kim) Simpson is a commercial lines account manager at our Salisbury office. She has been a part of the Avery Hall team since 1999. One of the things Kim loves most about her job is that every day is different, so she never gets bored. She loves people and has met some of the greatest through her job!
Professionally, Kim has worked solely in the insurance industry. She is passionate about helping people and with insurance she can do that daily. In 2008, she received the Customer Service Award from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors for her outstanding contributions to the insurance community and a steadfast commitment to professional excellence, education, and achievement.
Personally, Kim dedicated over thirty years to volunteering at the Life Crisis Center helping victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. During her time there, she has volunteered in a variety of different ways. From helping prepare the shelter when it was built to speaking directly with victims about resources available to them and creating safe plans. Kim plans to allocate most of her retirement to volunteering with this organization. Other charities she regularly supports include the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
When she is not out winning awards for her volunteer service, Kim can be found spending time with her son and grandson- her greatest joys.
