John Rolon Ortiz is a claims coordinator in our Salisbury office. He joined the team in 2024. As a claims coordinator, John specializes in helping insureds through the claims process and documentation, and communicating with our network of insurance carriers.
John was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and has lived on the Eastern Shore since he was three years old. He graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a concentration in Sequential Arts. Professionally, John is licensed in Life and Health insurance and certified in Leadership Development. Prior to Avery Hall, he was an assistant manager in the finance sector.
Outside the office, John is a local artist and the main two mediums he uses are drawing and painting. He is also fluent in Spanish! He enjoys spending time with his friends and family. John and his girlfriend Kristen are accompanied by a black Labrador/Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Whisper! John is most passionate about impacting the community, whether it be through his work or through his art.
