Benjamin Decker is an Assistant Account Manager for our Commercial Lines department in our Salisbury office. Ben joined the Avery Hall team in 2023.
As an assistant account manager, Ben collaborates with and helps account managers and executives with servicing our clients with commercial businesses, both large and small. Ben’s focus is to provide superior service and support to our clients and the rest of our commercial team.
Before joining Avery Hall, Ben worked in outside sales and acted as a Resident Assistant during his time at Salisbury University.
Ben grew up in Carroll County, MD, and earned a BA in Political Science from Salisbury University with a Minor in communication. Ben is passionate about politics, especially youth rights and protections. He has volunteered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the Salisbury Folk Festival, and after-school STEAM programs in Salisbury.
Outside of the office, Ben enjoys playing board games and RPGs, trying new cuisines, and spending time with his friends and family. He and his longtime partner Lauren have a cat named Sylvie, who they love to walk outside. Ben considers himself lucky to live on Delmarva close to his family, including both sets of his grandparents.
