Alyssa Sinagra is Vice President for our Benefit Solutions team at the Selbyville office. She joined Avery Hall in 2006 as a customer service representative, was later promoted to account executive, and in 2016 was promoted to senior account executive. In 2022, Alyssa was promoted to her current position.
Her specialty is working with individuals and families, helping them find the best plan that fits their medical, dental, vision, life, annuity, and long-term care insurance needs. Alyssa also works closely with Medicare beneficiaries helping them analyze and choose the best Medicare Supplement and Medicare Part D prescription plans. Her favorite part about her job is when she can help individuals decide whether they can afford to retire. Their medical insurance plays a crucial role in deciding to retire, and when a person realizes they can retire after working their whole life, it is very rewarding for her. She enjoys the educational seminars she offers to both the public and privately.
Professionally, Alyssa has been the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions. Most notably, the Wicomico County Coordinator of the Year award from United Way, the Mutual Sales Leaders award from Mutual of Omaha, and the Golden Eagle award from the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). She also has her Certification in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation, which focuses on the discipline of extended care planning.
One of Alyssa’s biggest passions is traveling the world. Some of Alyssa’s favorite places she has traveled to are Maui, Hawaii, and Italy. These destinations will always have a special place in her heart as she got engaged in Maui and spent her honeymoon in Italy! She and her husband love traveling with no agenda. They rent a car and drive where the road takes them, as that has often led to their most extraordinary adventures.
