A Medicare Supplement plan is additional coverage a Medicare beneficiary can purchase to cover the gaps in their coverage that Original Medicare doesn’t cover. There are 10 Supplement plans a beneficiary can choose from, each with a corresponding letter.
Although they are all Medicare supplement plans, the coverage offered from each plan differs. The chart on this page shows what percentage of each cost each Medicare supplement plan covers.
